Water Quality & Health Council
The Water Quality and Health Council is an independent, multidisciplinary group sponsored by ACC's Chlorine Chemistry Division. It's mission is to promote science based practices and policies to enhance water quality and health by advising industry, health professionals, policy makers and the public.
Safe Water Partnerships
The chlorine industry is trying to increase access to safe drinking water and sanitation around the globe through its Safe Water Partnerships, administered through the Chlorine Chemistry Foundation. These partnerships include members of ACC's Chlorine Chemistry Division and the World Chlorine Council, and manufacturers and users of chlorine and chlorine-related products from the United States, Canada, Europe and South America.
Solutions Through Science
Solutions Through Science is a group of chlorine and vinyl producers and users in Louisiana. Created as a stand-alone organization, Solutions Through Science has partnered with the Louisiana Chemical Association as well as ACC's Chlorine Chemistry Division and the Vinyl Institute to support the interests of the chlorine, vinyl, and other manufacturing industries in Louisiana.
Alliance for the Responsible Use of Chlorine Chemistry
The Alliance, consisting of unions and companies, recognizes the significant societal and economic benefits provided by chlorine chemistry. The Alliance also recognizes its responsibilities to ensure that the processes and products of the chlorine-related industries are safe for people and the environment.
Healthy Pools Partnership
To help the public recognize the signs of a healthy pool or spa the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Consumers League, Water Quality and Health Council, Chlorine Chemistry Division of the American Chemistry Council and Association of Pool and Spa Professionals have teamed up to form a national partnership.
